I tried to crochet once in college. I attempted to make a scarf for my husband (then boyfriend). Let me just say I don't think crocheting is my thing! LOL. God Bless him, though, he wore it once, anyway.
What I'd like to be able to do hand-made is sew. I want to learn to sew and be able to make our kids' clothes, curtains, whatever....I think it's such a handy skill to have. Beneficial in so many ways. ONE DAY.
Until that day comes, I can only offer a meal I made for us this week. (I feel like such a dork! FOOD. I am posting a picture of FOOD. You all are probably going to have such cool things....)
I tried a new recipe, skeptical it was going to be good. But it was! Very tasty and healthy. Lots of flavor.
So the picture is my hand-made (*giggle*) Rice-Vegetable Casserole.
Happy Photo Friday! Enjoy your weekends!

Hey, food is cool, and definitely hand made!
I honestly started to put up a recipe or something! I don't have any pretty pictures of my cooking. I took a picture of a warmed-over slice of meatloaf yesterday. sad. yummy, but sad.
You should share the recipe in a follow-up post!
I also would like to learn to sew. I have a sewing machine that belonged to my late-MIL and a friend who has offered to teach me (she makes the most beautiful things-wedding dresses, curtains, quilts, everything). But I'm already addicted to blogging, I don't know how I'd handle another addiction!

Looks good! It qualifies and handmade too. :-)
I too believe that food qualifies as somethink handmade!!!!! Hugs
Food totally counts. And it looks delicious!
Nothing wrong with a food shot. Colorful, handmade and made just for someone special. Thanks for sharing.
These days anyone who cooks anything homemade is a saint. With everyone so busy it's amazing anyone actually cooks anymore!
For my family no matter how busy we are with sports, work etc...my goal is to sit down every night as a family and eat together!
Very attractive dish! Making it look good is half the battle...or half the fun.
I made a grey cake one time and the kids wouldn't eat it! It tasted just like the white cake mix I used...I only added food coloring, but because it was GREY it was YUK.
Nice idea for a photo friday!
