We thought we were going to have to postpone it, because I was sick all week. Thankfully I felt 100% better, and on top of that, the weather was beautiful!
Brennan wore the same family gown that Aidan wore, as well as my husband, his father, and others in his family. It's a handmade gown that is almost 100 years old.
Adding to the joy of it, my husband's grandfather is a Deacon, so he was the one to actually Baptize Brennan! (as he did Aidan, and he also assisted the priest with our wedding ceremony when we got married!) It was very special to have so many traditions surrounding us.
Brennan slept the entire way to the church, but screamed during Mass and all during his Baptism. lol. It was a private Baptism after the Mass, thank goodness.
He still smells of the chrism oils they put on his little baby head. Ahhh. :)
Our baby is Baptized.

Congratulations, Brennan!
Oooh, I love the smell of the ointment!!! Mmmm! There's just "something" about it! I'm so sad that I missed his big day--seriously, I am about to move to Ohio!
Congratulations, and welcome to the church, Brennan! I love to see Baptisms anyway, but that's so neat that a family member could do it for you!
Isn't it wonderful to know that your baby is Baptized? I love Baptisms! You family looks wonderful and I can that little Brennan was fussing -- he wanted a meal!
