1. Popsicles2. Water guns. Lots of them.
3. Air conditioning.
4. Sunblock & bug spray.
5. Strawberry shortcake for dessert.
6. A nice Weber grill--who wants to cook inside when it's already hot & humid?
7. Good feet. It's flip-flop season, which can easily mean dry feet. Get some lotion and get those feet ready!
8. The Closer. (for me, anyway) I always enjoy watching the new episodes during the summer.
9. Last Comic Standing. Same as above reason.
10. A CAR. There may be no rain, but it gets too hot & humid to walk many places. No thank you.
11. Tee-ball! This is a first for us, and I am so excited. :) My 4 year-old starts tee-ball next week. I don't know who is more excited.
12. Good summer movies. I'm hopeful of seeing The Happening, The Strangers, and Hancock.
13. Family & friends close by, or at least for a visit. You need people to enjoy 1-12 with!

Tee ball. Get ready for years of baseball. Go buy yourself a folding chair. Bleachers are VERY uncomfortable. Pack a baseball mom bag including a magazine, water or gatorade and bug spray!!!
numbers 1, 3 and 4 are definite must haves! enjoy the summer!

Strawberry shortcake is one of my favorites no matter what the season but definitely during summer.
I am going out to buy Otter Pops today! My son lives off them in the summer!
We're in the midst of baseball...and SO ready for it to be DONE.

ok, before we head off to the pool. summer movies for sure! just think, 1 week from today we'll be seeing "The Strangers"!!!!! (I also can't wait to take H & J to see WALL-E & tomorrow we are going to see Kung Fu Panda with Haleigh's friend who is moving to Delaware :(

Now I want a popsicle. A red one!! Does anyone else judge flavors by color? I don't care what flavor my popsicle is, I just want it to be red! I don't know, I just think the red ones taste better.
