A Tip

Aidan and I have been having a good morning together.
We've read numerous stories, did some arts&crafts, he rode his bike...

I can't say all days are like this.
I wish I could, but in being truthful, I can't. Last week there were at least two instances when Aidan told me I'm a mean mommy. He expressed boredom.

That was not the case today.
After doing much of the above-mentioned, Aidan came up to me with a single dollar bill. I asked him where he got it, and he told me his wallet (true). Then he went on to tell me that he wanted to give me his dollar for being a good mommy.

My heart just about melted.
The [obvious] perks to this job may come few & far between, but when they come, they are amazing.
