Can You Beat the Heat?

Usually the heat beats me, and I can't stand it. Ever since I was little, I have been sensitive to the heat.
I am not a summer-lover. Fall is more my season.
Heat & humidity make me irritable.

Lately we've been in the low 90's with high humidity. Oh so fun! (sarcasm, people)
I even stated yesterday that I hate summer.
I do.
I enjoy the time with my kids, I love having daylight longer, love the farmers markets...but not the weather.

Yesterday we tried to beat the heat, though, and if I do say so myself, we were successful!
All it took was a $5 sprinkler, play balls, and a blanket.
Oh, and 2 of the cutest boys who adore each other...that, too. ;)
Summer: 2
Us: 1

Summer is beating us so far, but we're fighting back!

Another thing to look forward to: Aidan's "girlfriend" invited us to join them at the pool for tot time (which is for parents & kids 5 & under...10-12. Sweet)
Our local pool is actually pretty nice, so we may join them sometime soon.

Watch out summer! We're going to have fun, despite your nasty weather!

I'm with you. I don't like heat. To everyone around me I'm a grouchy freak when it's hot & humid and I'd rather stay near the air conditioner. lol. Thanks for dropping by my blog!

OMGosh! Love pics 1 & 5, but you really should feed Aidan more. Skin and bones that boy is!

I feel the same way you do about summer. I want to find somewhere to live that's between 60 and 75 all year long. Maybe we can buy houses on the same street?

This summer isn't bothering me as much as last year when I was pregnant. We go to the pool everyday otherwise I wouldn't want to be outside. And of course Aidan and Brennan are so cute and we can't wait to see them and are so excited!

Amy,
ha ha ha!! Tell me about it.
Aidan completely favors my husband & his side of the family. It's so not fair.
The boy DOES eat. Pat eats. But they remain skinny little things and it's just not right.
Pat's brother, father AND mother are the same way.
What kills me is that you know darn well, if we ever had a girl, she'd probably take after MY side, meaning she'd gain like a normal person.
Not fair.
