I Don't Understand Things Like This

A woman from the San Francisco area threw her 3 children over a pier and killed them.
She let them drown. The oldest was 6- the middle one was 2.5, and the youngest was 16 months old. They are not even old enough to be able to try to swim for a fight on their lives! They should not have to fight for their lives against their own mother!

WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?!!


This saddens me beyond belief.
I'm not sure how much more of the news I can handle watching.

This woman- only 23- kills her children.
We have Andrea Yates who drowned her kids in their own bathtub years back! The oldest was 7 and fought her. He came up twice for air- but she KILLED her own flesh and blood.
Susan Smith locked her 2 children in the car and let the car sink in a lake in South Carolina. Her kids were 3 and 14 months.

I tell you, it's really hard for me to NOT want to wish these people to burn in hell!
The Christian part of me knows I should pray for them, and listen to their profiles- each woman has records of mental illnesses.

But come on!
Everyone is diagnosed with something these days.
This is ridiculous!
These poor innocent children.
We hear too many stories on the abuse and murder of children. I am so damn sick of the murderers being labeled the victims. They are not the victims- the victims are dead!

These are only 3 big examples off the top of my head- but there are so many more.
It seems like there is one each week (at least) on Good Morning America or Today.
Local, Nationwide, Internationally- I just don't get it.
What is wrong with people?!
