Radley Balko Offers an Alternative to the Abortion Issue

While announcing that he is a pro-lifer, he also seems to show agreement with the public on the morning-after pill.
"... polls also show that Americans overwhelmingly support the widespread availability of the morning-after pill, a souped-up birth control pill that prevents a fertilized egg from attaching to the uterine wall, staving off a pregnancy before it begins. I think the public largely has it right, here."

So while I doubt the extent of his pro-life beliefs, I found his opinion (suggestion?) to be quite interesting:
"The best solution is robust federalism. Forgo Roe, and let each state set its own policies on abortion. Those for whom abortion is an important fundamental right can live in areas where abortions are widely available. Those adamantly opposed to any and all abortions can live in jurisdictions that ban the procedure. People like me
could live in communities where our tax dollars won't be funding abortions."

It sounds nice- I'd love to be able to say that I live in a pro-life state. All the way, 100%- there are no abortions where I live.
Unfortunately, this idea does not (to me) seem like one that will strive to PROTECT all life. It separates the pro-lifers from the pro-choicers.
As Christians, isn't it our obligation to continue to fight the good fight for God? For HIS ways?
I would hate to see the end of that by living in an all pro-life state. I would rather continue on fighting for ALL unborn babies.
