Disgusting, Pathetic Choice

So some Indian film director wants to make a movie about Mother Teresa.
LOVE it. Amazing woman. She should have a movie made in her honor.

Indian-movie-film-director-guy wants to cast Paris Hilton as Mother Teresa.
HATE IT. Disappointing, horrific, yuck, unfortunate...it would be so disrespectful to all that is good.

Yes, I am the 1st to comment on my own blog. Call me a dork.

With that out of the way, before anyone else comments, I have to say that YES, it HAS been brought to my attention that if Paris took the role, she could learn from this and the Holy Spirit could work. I think a conversion would be great as a result.
However, the logical side of me currently says "nooooo!".

My vote would be for Catherine Hicks (the Mom on "Seventh Heaven") to play Mother Theresa.

I think that to play this role, an actress would have to have a clue about Catholic spirituality, as well as some serious acting talent. I can't imagine that Paris Hilton has either.

Catherine Hicks! Good choice. I was always impressed w/ her on 7th Heaven.
Supposedly this film director believes that Paris Hilton has a resemblance to Mother Teresa.
:(
Something in their facial features. MAYBE, but still...w/ make-up advances, we could make someone else (more worthy) resemble her.

My mother is not believing me when I tell her this!!!

Incredible!!

Why not cast someone who loves and acts like Mother Teresa already...it's a movie about MT...I mean COME ON...having an unknown star wouldn't kill it.

Exactly, O.
It's not like Mel Gibson chose Jude Law or someone immoral like that for The Passion. IMO, this isn't much different. Meant to be a good movie to honor a saint...not Paris!!!
