Father kills daughter; doubted virginity
A Jordanian man fatally shot his 17-year-old daughter whom he suspected of
having sex despite a medical exam that proved her chastity, an official said
Thursday. The man surrendered to police hours after the killing, saying he had
done it for family honor.
He did it for the "family honor".
Now I'll be the first person to stand up for saving sex until marriage. I was raised that way, and we intend to raise our children that way.
But for a culture to actually think they are doing something good by killing off an impure member of the family...Well, it just makes me grateful to be from our country and not theirs!
(and by the way, medical tests proved this poor young girl was still a virgin. She was murdered even though she never did what she was accused of doing)

From what I have heard that's fairly common with the muslim culture. After all, what do you expect from a culture that views women as property?
