Buried Treasure

As I was vacuuming the living room this morning, I cleaned couch cushions, as well. After sucking up the saltine crumbs, I removed the cushions.

WOW.

Buried underneath, I found puzzle pieces (been looking for those!), a spoon, raw spaghetti, Aidan's toy wrench, foam stickers from Valentine's Day, more crumbs, and some coins.

Buried treasures.

I think it's about time I make vacuuming the couch a part of my regular vacuuming routine.

lol! Actually, I just started to vacuum them b/c of all the crumbs Aidan got on them. Then I lifted part of a cushion, and it grossed me out. How could I ever say before that I had a clean house?! :)

Oh yes- I can't believe the things we found when we got new couches and REALLY saw what was inside & under our old ones!!

Hi Sharon! You've been to my blog a few times.. I'm not one to leave comments very often, but I wanted to say I relate with a lot of what you post! It's great to meet other mom's striving to give their children the best and live God's word. Looking forward to reading more of your posts. =)

Been there! The couches in our family room are very "squishy", and they practically inhale toys and other assorted junk into the cushions. It's amazing what we find in there.

And to anwer your question on my cooking blog... yes, I've made the chicken and dumplings. It's almost exactly like the stovetop recipe I've always used, except I add in vegetables. Yum! :)
