Good things are happening in our little corner of the world. :)
I must admit, I feel surprised, too. More times than not I feel like our prayers go ignored, leaving our dreams to remain a dream.
This past week, however, has been incredible.
First I want to share the best news: my husband, Patrick, has been accepted into the MBA program for this fall! Just two weeks ago he took the GMAT, after studying his butt off for many weeks. I am so proud of him. Seriously. He has been so dedicated, working his full-time job & excelling there, working a part-time job since November and doing well there, and on top of that, studying for this test, passing with flying colors. With all of that, he has still made his family a priority. I feel I've hit the jackpot with this guy as my husband.
So with grad school in the fall, that puts us in the market for a new computer. (Yes!) We're getting a MAC! Pat is much more excited about this than I am, but I'm still pretty excited. It's more my lack of computer knowledge that inhibits my thrill over this. Instead, I'm enjoying knowing the current laptop will be right here with me, as mine. ;)
We're not only in the market for a new computer. We're also in the market for a house. Finally! We have officially begun house-hunting. In the past few days alone, we've gained our own realtor, and completed the paper work for our mortgage pre-approval. We've seen two houses this week, one of which we're seeing a second time tomorrow. (and seriously considering making an offer on). Tomorrow offers several more viewings, too. It's stressful, but a good stress.
As I said, it's been a busy week! I am feeling pretty good, and finally, hopeful. It's always nice to see sacrifices paying off.
I was pretty minimal in my blogging this past week, and that may continue as we make more time to see some houses. I have to include Aidan's summer activities, of course. That boy is busy! Tuesdays he has Story Time at the library, Wednesdays is Tee-Ball and a food class, Thursdays Games & Giggles, and Fridays Jumping for Joy. I get exhausted just reading his schedule!
Your positive thoughts and prayers are appreciated. :) I look forward to updating with (hopefully) good news!

PS Jason surprised me and said he's going to Mass with us tomorrow!!!
Congratulations Pat! I can only imagine how excited you both are with this coming up. Lots of work, but it will be so worth it in the end! =)
House hunting is amazing and take your time. It took us almost a year to find a house - yes we are the picky ones. We ended up finding the house we live in now which is seriously SO much better than everything else in that price range. Something will come along amazing for you. Oooh.. I'm excited and almost wish I was hunting again too.
Aidan is a busy, busy boy. I just can't do all that.. if I'm too busy I go nuts. lol!!
Prayers for you and the family, as busy times can be stressful times. Thank goodness for amazing husbands!
Yaaaaaay! Pat!!! And Yay for answered prayers, too! I am so so so so soooooooooooo excited for you guys! I am going to have to make my way up[ there to see the new pad! (Ew! I still can't say that word without gagging--real mature!)
