Baby Continues to Grow in Brain-Dead Woman's Womb

I was browsing Fox News when this story caught my attention.

Isn't that amazing?

It wasn't too long ago when we were hearing the story of Terri Schiavo, and her "brain-dead" status making her husband want to cut her off from life support.

Reading this article, it makes me believe in the possibility of those lives, and especially for the lives of the unborn.

"The woman's body is functioning as normal and the fetus is getting a continuous supply of blood," said Professor Eyal Antabi, who heads the hospital's maternity ward.

I just find this to be amazing. I would never have guessed a person's body could sustain new life like this, given that their own body had stopped functioning. Then again, maybe there is more to the human body when in a vegetative state than we are aware.
If this story doesn't hint at that, I don't know what it would take.
