Elton John CAN'T Feel the Love Tonight

At least he says he can't feel it from the people of religion. He only gets hatred from us religious folk, ya know.

Oh, I used to like his songs! They were popular growing up. Crocodile Rock, I Guess that's Why they call it the Blues...great songs! I find it hard to enjoy them now, though, when he makes comments like this: "I think religion has always tried to turn hatred towards gay people," & "Religion promotes the hatred and spite against gays."

What about the other fact? That many gay people, in their outspoken manners regarding their sexuality and practices, turn people away from religious truth? How is that OK but religion remaining the same in teaching all of a sudden not?

Wonderful. Another celebrity making a comment, assuming it is so powerful just because they are famous.

Sounds like an attack of Guilty Conscience to me. The easiest thing to do, when you break the rules and don't want to stop breaking the rules, because it furthers your own selfish motives, is to attack the source of the rules.

And to think I loved his music growing up (and still do). Lately he has been known to say some odd ball things, remember when he was the guest judge on American Idol and Jennifer Hudson was voted off, he claimed 'America was racist' even though I think that year Fantasia won! At least Mel Gibson was drunk, when he made his obscene comments.

I'll happy take it as a guilty conscience! :)

I didn't see him as the guest judge on American Idol. Guess I didn't miss much. How disappointing. I wish I didn't know all these things so I'd still be able to enjoy his music. Funny point on at least Mel being drunk. lol
