Movie Review: Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay

While I laughed constantly and enjoyed the first Harold & Kumar movie, I can not the same for the second.
Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay had its funny scenes, but I found it to be filled with more crude and vulgar scenes than necessary. In my opinion, it pushed it beyond the limit of funny, crossing over to distasteful and raunchy.

Perhaps it's because we watched the Unrated version. I don't know how the Rated version compares.

I did not like the first movie until having watched it several times. Maybe that would be the case here, too, but I don't imagine renting this second one again.

I was disappointed over all. I did not even finish the entire movie.
I enjoyed the stereotypical jokes and puns, but that wasn't enough for me to outweigh against the material that was bothersome.
Just my opinion. That's my review.

If you've seen both the Harold & Kumar movies, which did you like best?

Thanks for the review!

I was thinking about renting this movie. I really did enjoy the original, but got the feeling that this one would be different in a bad way.

I've never seen either one, but I love watching these two on talk shows--One of them is a college professor IRL--ha ha ha ha ha!
