It was a crazy busy day:
dropped Pat off at work, put gas in the car, vacuumed the car, went to the grocery store, came home, cut the front lawn, fed the boys lunch, did the shred, showered, then it was time to take Aidan to his silly scavengers activity through the summer rec program.
After that we took the van for an oil change (30 minute wait), headed to yet one more store to get a birthday present for Wednesday's party, plus something needed for dinner. Went from the store to pick Pat up from work, finished dinner, he left for school, bathed the boys, put them to bed, cleaned up the kitchen, folded laundry, vacuumed, mopped, and unloaded the dishwasher.
Like I said, BUSY!
So now I'm using the tiny amount of remaining energy to share about our trip.
We headed towards Raleigh, NC, to visit Erin, John, & their 3 kids.
Despite the 14 hour drive to get there, it was a great trip. The kids all enjoyed playing with each other, and it was so much fun to see them getting along so well. It's nice that they're so close in age.
We enjoyed a trip to the park, playing in the slip & slide, going to an awesome kids' playland place/ hands-on museum, and playing inside. Us grown-ups had fun playing the Wii, and Erin & I even got in some girl time. We went to see The Proposal. GREAT movie! I loved it. And it was fun to see a chick flick with an old friend. :) Plus this movie means I have gained a tremendous amount of respect for Oscar from The Office. Ha!! I can't wait to watch it again.
It came & went too fast, but I am so glad the short 2 days we visited went so nicely. Hopefully we will all see each other again much sooner!
Now for the pictures. :)

attempt at a kid-shot. Sebastian's face isn't fully showing, but I do love the look P & Brennan are exchanging

Sounds like a good trip. We are currently getting ready for our 10-hour drive to Pittsburgh this weekend. :) Steeler Training Camp is a huge priority, you know. LOL Any suggestions on surviving long car trips?
Cute rolls on the baby, BTW. :)
great pictures! glad you all had fun.
We had so much fun! Sebastian and Perpetua keep asking for their cousins. And really what did you do??? Addie started crawling up the stairs yesterday. You taught her that didn't you?? ;)

You are a busy girl - wow. I wish I could get motivated to get that much done in one day.
I hope you will come by Dining With Debbie and sign up for Crock Pot Wednesday. Mister Linky is up and waiting for your entry. The first of the three giveaways is already posted. You won't want to miss out on these. diningwithdebbie.blogspot.com
